Her character represent a women whom look mature and sexy in her own way yet she still has this girlish quality. She has her own up's and down's story that some of us knew and some don't. She lived a life of a star, she got it all and then loose it all yet she survive it and she still got "what it takes". To her fans, she still has it; the "Baby Jazz" character and the innocent sexuality that she's supposed to represent. Ironically, the image of Betty Boop has gained more recognition through the massive merchandsing license launched by the heir of its creator with audiences today unaware of Betty's place in cinema and animation history.
