Betty Boop, along with her dog Pudgy, are cartoon characters from the 1930's who have made the transition to beloved and collectible character status. Pudgy is featured in many of her cartoons, and is also depicted as her faithful companion on many of the collectible gift items here at Goodies Galore. Betty's short skirts and "cute" and "sexy" demeanor are staple features of our Betty Boop collectibles. Even though Betty's career in films was short she became so well known, her life as a sought after collectible continues.

To fans out there check out some of these items to add to your collections.

Betty & Pudgy

Meet Pudgy.. Betty Boop's loyal puppy buddy

Betty heightened sexuality spell her doom. The Production Code censorship laws enforced beginning 1934 forced her to wear a longer skirt and less revealing neckline - that's when the short little skirts with her garter showing diasappeared and her hemline then moved down to her knees eliminating the "cute" and "sexy" characteristics that had made her popular. No longer a flapper, she a become a husbandless housewife and given a little dog named Pudgy. Her popularity began to decline and hat meant the beginning of the end of Betty's popularity.

Princess Betty

There goes the princess like.. I told you Betty can go for anything and anything goes for her..
